Circumstances upon boot

  1. privoxy is put in (I DON’T have it set to start out robotically on reboot).

  2. Community Settings are set for privoxy (please see my Bypass settings):

Internet proxy (HTTP) ON
Server 127.0.0.1
Port 8118

Safe internet proxy (HTTPS) ON
Server 127.0.0.1
Port 8118

Bypass proxy settings for these hosts & domains:
*native, 169.254/16, 127.0.0.1:8191

  1. I’ve a launch daemon plist that begins a service on 127.0.0.1:8191 known as flaresolverr.py. That is the service that runs briefly upon system begin then stops – it is supposed to stay operating (it makes an attempt to open Chromium.app to examine if its connection is working).

I’ve set Community proxy settings to permit/bypass 127.0.0.1:8191… I’m making an attempt to know why flaresolverr initially runs, then stops operating. I assume it is associated to my Community settings having a proxy set with out privoxy operating however why?

I can get flaresolverr operating once more in two methods:

  1. After all beginning the privoxy service. I begin it manually utilizing terminal:
/usr/native/decide/privoxy/sbin/privoxy --no-daemon /usr/native/and so forth/privoxy/config
  1. In Community Settings > Ethernet: toggle (Deactivate…Activate) my “Ethernet” service. This works although privoxy just isn’t operating.

My query… how can I resolve this? What does toggling (Deactivate and Activate) my Community service “Ethernet” do to permit entry to 127.0.0.1:8191 once more, and why?

Additional information

After a restart checking in safari:

Safari Cannot Connect with the Server
Safari cannot open the web page
“127.0.0.1:8191” as a result of Safari cannot hook up with the server
“127.0.0.1”

Checking in chrome:

This website cannot be reached
127.0.0.1 refused to attach.
Attempt:
• Checking the connection
• Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Checking in terminal for course of reveals some clues

13:18:35.658 at iMacEth ~ ps -U 0 | grep -i flaresolverr.py
 3937 ?? 0:00.23 /Customers/john/.pyenv/variations/3.11.6/bin/python /Customers/john/GitHub/FlareSolverr/src/flaresolverr.py

Now toggle (Deactivate…Activate) Community “Ethernet” service leads to a brand new PID for my the daemon that runs flaresolverr.py and the whole lot is working even with out privoxy operating…

13:18:48.912 at iMacEth ~ ps -U 0 | grep -i flaresolverr.py
 6364 ?? 0:00.47 /Customers/john/.pyenv/variations/3.11.6/bin/python /Customers/john/GitHub/FlareSolverr/src/flaresolverr.py

Opening 127.0.0.1:8191 in Safari:

{"msg": "FlareSolverr is prepared!", "model": "3.3.10", "userAgent": "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/119.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"}
